Eesti Pagar introduced a totally innovative white bread product to the market in January ,Sire – a multi-grain white bread with 70% less carbohydrates!

Multi-grain Sire looks and tastes just like regular white bread, but the quantity of grain has been reduced while the egg, oil and seed content have been increased.

In this way, the carbohydrate content of the white bread has been reduced, and the protein and fat content have been increased.

The trend for healthy nutrition, which limits the consumption of refined carbohydrates (sugar, flour, syrup), is increasingly popular with consumers and encouraged Eesti Pagar to create this innovative white bread product. In addition to reduced carbohydrates, Sire contains plenty of fibre, linseeds and sunflower seeds, and apple and wheat fibres with high roughage content have been added separately.

The fat used in the bread is healthy rapeseed oil, as there is an ideal combination of omega3 and omega6 fatty acids in rapeseed oil; thereby, they are more easily absorbed by our bodies.

The product is suitable for weight watchers, because it has a low carbohydrate content, which helps people to watch their weight, and bodybuilders, since the product has a high protein content, which helps to preserve muscle mass.
