Wholesomeness of rye bread
Why is rye bread healthy and good? First of all, it
contains enough fibre. Fibre is ‘a system caretaker’ that improves digestion and
is beneficial to teeth and gums. Fibre containing in rye bread give us an eaten
feeling and at the same time nutritive energy of them is low.
Person’s
daily rate for fibre is approximately 20–30 grams – 6–8 slices of rye bread
contain this quantity of fibre. Same quantity of rye bread meets 60–80% of the
daily need for mineral nutrients and 30–50% of the need for vitamins.
Rye bread is heart-friendly foodstuff because it helps to balance
cholesterol content of the system, therefore reducing the risk to be taken ill
with cardiovascular diseases. Mineral nutrients in rye bread are stimulating
brain activity and give us muscle strength. In addition, rye bread contains
different B group vitamins, which are necessary for people’s skin, hair, nails
and nervous system.
